Lolu will be occupying various working spots in the Fraser Mills Train Staion and Caboose, visit him on Fridays to learn more.
Friday June 23 Lolu will be performing during Music in the Square. Enjoy free live music with a spoken word poetry performance around 7:45pm.
About Lolu:
Babaloluwa (Lolu) Oyedele is a Nigeria-born, South-African raised interdisciplinary artist, performer and writer. He has a BFA in Interdisciplinary Performance from UBC Okanagan. He has had the honor of collaborating with Sqilxw Apna on their production with the Vernon Performing Arts Theatre, as well as performing in Harlequin Theatre’s Hamlet. In addition to this, he recently had the pleasure of being a part of Little Mountain Lion’s 27 Stories Written by Kids and is currently a member of Pacific Theatre's Working With Writing Cohort. He is grateful to be working and living on the unceded territory of the xwməθkwəy̓ əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, otherwise known as Vancouver, B.C.
