Westie Rescue of Canada (WRC)

Westie Rescue of Canada (WRC) is a registered charity dedicated to the protection and well-being of West Highland White Terriers. WRC is funded by private donations and is run by volunteers to find permanent and loving homes for westies who can no longer be cared for by their owners, have been abandoned or mistreated or are in need of care because of the death or illness of an owner. The primary role of WRC is to ensure that quality care is given by facilitating the pick-up and transport of such dogs: arranging for their spay/neuter as well as for the provision of other appropriate veterinary care; rehabilitating and fostering such dogs; seeking applications for, and screening permanent homes for such dogs and facilitating their adoption.
