Shoreline Trail House Post Guided Walks | National Indigenous History Month

Created as part of the In the Presence of Ancestors project, the Shoreline Trail house posts honour the original caretakers of the lands and waters. Join artistic director Tasha Faye Evans as she takes us on a walk around the Inlet with teachings and reflections on the project, its five house posts, and the Indigenous carvers whose creations remind us of our shared responsibility for protecting the Burrard Inlet.

Shoreline Trail House Post Guided Walk

Cost: Free
Important note: Participants will meet at the Rocky Point Park Pier entrance and the walk will conclude at Old Orchard Park. This is a six-kilometre route along the shoreline trail and is considered an easy walk; however, please be prepared for uneven ground and sections with stairs. As the walk will take place rain or shine, participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather.
