Jonathan Larson’s electrifying rock musical comes to Metro Theatre.
RENT is a joyous, high-energy celebration of love, life, and chosen family—set to one of the most iconic rock scores in musical theatre history. This groundbreaking retelling of La Bohème follows a tight-knit crew of bohemian artists as they chase their dreams, defy the odds, and dance through the heart of 1990s New York City. Though the musical tackles serious and timely themes, it does so with humour, heart, and a rebellious spirit that made it a Broadway sensation, and an endearing classic.
