Come to the Garden to create your own tiny, tropical world!
Join us for a family-friendly guided walk to discover some of the more tropical-type plants growing throughout the Garden; some of these species have been on the planet since prehistoric times, when the world was a lot more tropical, and have fascinating adaptations that have helped them survive even the jaws of hungry dinosaurs!
On our return to the classroom, you'll be guided through the steps to create a tiny tropical terrarium for your windowsill at home, and learn how to care for your new tropical houseplants.
