Join us at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival through hands-on cultural activities inspired by centuries-old Chinese traditions.
June 19 – Mugwort Hanging Charm DIY Station
Drop in throughout the day to create a traditional mugwort hanging charm and learn about the role of mugwort in Dragon Boat Festival customs. Participation is by donation, with materials available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
June 19–20 – Dragon Boat Festival Multi-Colour Stamp Station
Enjoy a festive stamping activity featuring themed designs inspired by Dragon Boat Festival traditions. Visitors can create their own commemorative prints as a keepsake. Participation is by donation, available while supplies last.
June 20 – Five-Coloured Cord Bracelet DIY Station
Create a traditional five-coloured cord bracelet and discover the symbolism behind this beloved Dragon Boat Festival tradition. Participation is by donation, with materials available while supplies last.
