Based in Vancouver, Filipino-Canadian Reynato Pablo is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. His works, mainly in oil and acrylic on canvas, have been exhibited at several events such as the Vancouver Asian Heritage Month ExplorAsian Festival. Largely self-taught, he refined his techiques with "Old Masters Methods in Oil Painting" courses at Langara College. Rey accepts commissioned paintings for portraits, landscapes, still life, and abstracts; including botanical, zoological and medical illustrations. A community art educator since 2013 with teaching stints at Trout Lake and Thunderbird Community Centers, Rey currently accepts students for group, individual and online painting classes.
