Kilby Historic Site

The Museum, Café and Gift Shop are Open Thursday thru to Monday 11 am to 4 pm. The Kilby Historic Site stands as the only reminder of the once thriving community. Discover the story of this vibrant community when you explore our lovely five-acre heritage site—complete with a 1906 General Store and demonstration farm. Meet our friendly animals, participate in historic demonstrations,and soak in the sights and sounds of a world gone by. Stop for lunch in our licensed café and browse our gift shop filled with unique items from local artisans and makers. Within walking distance of the museum is the scenic Kilby Park, located on the Harrison River featuring a 41-site campground, day-use area, sandy beaches, nature trails, and boat launch.
